What is "Cold Plunging"?

"Cold plunging", also known as cold therapy or cold-water immersion, is the act of fully submerging your body in cold water. 


Cold plunging is a practice as old as time- Humans have been reaping the benefits of cold plunging for thousands of years!

Cold Plunge FAQs:

Q: How long should I cold plunge for?

A: Here at Mesa Chiropractic PLLC, we aim to start patients with 5 minute sessions. With practice and discipline, you will be able to increase your cold tolerance over time and do longer sessions.


Q: What temperature do you keep your tub at?

A: We keep our Cold Plunge tub at around 50 degrees Fahrenheit ❄️


Q: How many minutes in a cold plunge is ideal per week?

A: Research shows that at least 11 minutes of intentional cold exposure each week cumulatively (over 2-4 sessions of 1-5 minutes) is ideal for full benefits.
